MENT Ljubljana welcomes European artists with previous concert experience and publicly available audio and video material for its sixth edition (5–7 Feb 2020).

Applications for music professionals are open as well (until 4th October 2019):



MENT Ljubljana is a three-day (5–7 Feb 2020) award-winning showcase festival of fresh artists from all over Europe and beyond, during which around 70 acts perform at different venues in Ljubljana. The international conference focuses on the music industry and creativity.

The fifth MENT hosted 75 acts from 27 countries, performing in packed venues. Over three days, the total number of all attendees amounted to more than 5000, including 583 registered music professionals from 37 countries.

MENT focuses on the regional and Eastern European scenes, though it hosts acts from all over Europe, and the same goes for professionals. In previous years, MENT’s guests have included representatives of festivals (Les Trans Musicales, Glastonbury, Sziget, Le Guess Who?, EXIT, INmusic, ESNS, Pohoda, Tallinn Music Week, Iceland Airwaves, Rock 4 People, Waves Vienna, Reeperbahn, Haldern Pop, Europavox, Metronome, Atlas Weekend…), record labels (Sire Records, Warner Music Group, One Little Indian, PIAS, Glitterbeat, Ghostly International, Beggars Group, Hyperboloid…), booking agencies (Toutpartout, Belmont, ATC Live, Pitch & Smith, Charmenko, More Zvukov, Paper and Iron, Scorched Asia, Mentha & Partners…), concert promoters (Parallel Lines, Go Ahead, Password Production, Yugofutursim, Los Angeles Agency, WORM…) management companies (Ink Music, 3s Management, Chimes…), music media (KEXP, Under the Radar, The Quietus, Clash, BBC, Intro, Louder Than War, The 405, Drowned in Sound, IQ Magazine, beehype,…), sync agencies (Thag’s Agent, Lusitanian, Eastaste,…), PR agencies (Factory 92, Global Publicity, popup-records…), networks (IMPALA, Liveurope, INES, ETEP, RUNDA, Keychange…), distribution services (The Orchard, Phonofile, Believe Digital…) and the likes of Spotify, Google, Music Ally, music export offices and other music related outfits. There’s a significant presence of professionals from the ex-Yu region – mostly from Croatia, Serbia and Macedonia and the neighbouring countries (Austria, Hungary, Italy).
