The Bristolian youth stands at the crossroads of one of the most exciting club music scenes in Britain, a still unnamed sound that fuses techno, house, drum ’n’ bass, dubstep and electro, says Pitchfork. A sound that has yet to crystallize, that’s still unclear, but perhaps all the more exciting for it. It’s thus no wonder that Batu released his current EP via the legendary XL Recordings, and that the song Flash React found its way onto Resident Advisor’s best-of-2018 list. It hasn’t been long since he’s enthralled regional audiences at the Dimensions and Dekmantel Selectors festivals, and now we can looking forward to a club set.
