Magmalaska takes us into the abstract world of unique audio-visual poetry. Handmade instruments, hypnotic cycles of sound, layers of whispers and the piercing voice of the exceptional Slovenian artist Katja Šulc bring to life traditional folk tunes, majestic Gypsy songs and ancient spells. Alongside the eclectic projections by visual master and multitalented artist Neja Tomšič, they create a truly transcendental experience. Their latest joint project “The Art of Losing” heads off on a mysterious exploration of loss, loneliness and love.
