TENTS (Austria)

“A talent to watch.” THE GAP

The new Austrian scene doesn’t seem like it will be letting up anytime soon. The next in line to hit us is the trio Tents, which sounds like the best hybrid of post-punk and indie rock. Sharp, warm, melodic, catchy, melancholic, sarcastic… The band’s EP “Under My Wings” first won over music enthusiasts in Vienna, and Austrian media soon started naming the group alongside Mavi Phoenix, Leyya, 5K HD and other new Austrian talents. In May, the band released their full-length debut “Stars On The GPS Sky” via Numavi Records. Die Presse described the album as “cool and nervous post-punk without nostalgia, but with monocolour shirts.”
