We Made it to the European Festival Awards Shortlist!

Whoa!

At the Eurosonic Norderslaag festival, the most prominent music festivals of the past year will be rewarded for the ninth time. The European Festival Awards (EFA) select the best festivals in ten categories through a combination of jury and audience votes. We’re proud to announce that this year, MENT Ljubljana has been shortlisted for Best Small Festival and Best Indoor Festival.

In addition to the festivals selected according to size and type, the EFA awards also highlight the best new festivals, the best line-ups, brand activation, health and safety innovation, green operations, and socially responsible approaches to organising major music events.

This year, the most nods, in a total of seven categories, were received by the excellent Slovakian festival Pohoda, followed by the acclaimed Danish festival Roskilde (five) and the Dutch Lowlands (four). The list also includes our neighbouring Sziget, the Serbian Exit, the Polish Woodstock, the Romanian Electric Castle and other major festivals, such as Glastonbury, Wacken, Tomorrowland, Lollapalooza Berlin, and Hellfest.

The MENT team is heading north in the company of three Slovenian acts: composer, pianist and producer Bowrain, indie rockers Jardier and the experimental multi-instrumental trio Širom.
